BLESSED DISABILITY CHILDREN'S CENTRE
Contributing to the social, educational, health, and economic empowerment of children with severe disabilities
Providing holistic, quality, and affordable disability care tailored specifically to the capabilities and needs of children in Kampala, Uganda.
We utilize a Child-Centered, Home-Based, and Community-Engaged approach to break down social stigma and build long-term self-reliance.

Our 4 Pillars of Intervention
-
Psychosocial Support & Rehabilitation: Providing high-quality physical therapy and specialized social care. Through tailored counseling, we actively combat isolation, depression, and the heavy cultural stigma associated with disability.
-
Inclusive Education Support: We believe quality education is a fundamental human right. We facilitate inclusive day care and home services to ensure children with disabilities are not left behind academically.
-
Sustainable Livelihoods & Empowerment: Long-term rehabilitation requires financial stability. We strategically train parents and caretakers through Parent Learning Committees (PLCs) in entrepreneurship, farming, and vocational skills to boost household income.
-
Advocacy & Human Rights Promotion: We use press, TV, and radio platforms—especially on International Disability Day—to shine a spotlight on child protection and protect our children from abuse and neglect
